Nadra’s online Citizen profile

Why doesn’t Nadra issue’s an online ID to all citizen’s of Pakistan on Nadra web site, and
allow us to update the information, which can then later be confirmed by Nadra and they can
update their database?
Nadra can at least ask for email addresses of people, and work details also, Maybe most
people will not have, but as per Badar Khushnood ( google rep in Pakistan) there are 17
million people online, that makes it around 10% of the country has access to email.
Most of these 10% people are the one who are going to use this online web site also.
IF nadra has email, once there is someone who buy’s a sim card on one’s name, nadra can
issue an email to the owner of the NIC Number, that a new SIM card has been issued on
your name, Kindly check.
Simple service, yet will be very helpful to the citizens , and Nadra.

that’s what exactly is bothering me today since morning. i am trying to contact their local office, their landline number was continuously busy and when connected the guy told me their link is down temporarily please contact later. Though i am not in favor of your argument but at-least they should provide an online tool to check CNIC status or more like an online verification system. i don’t see any security/privacy but i guess they are more busy in making money via VerySys !!! :-s
